Over the long weekend I helped to lead a Sunrise Photography Workshop hosted by Toronto Photography Solutions Group. The early morning light was fantastic on a downtown Toronto beach as you can see from a few of the photos below. The meet up was planed and organized to create an opportunity to catch some awesome early morning light with a great model, Kassandra, and of course experiment with exposure settings, alternative lighting, and reflectors in a single event.
The most important thing that I discovered was that perhaps sunset shoots are more appealing. Living in Whitby, I had to be up and gone by 3:45 am to drive downtown Toronto, pick up our model, get to the location, set up some lights, and do a pre shoot briefing to catch a 5:41 am sunrise.
We all had a fantastic time on the beach with lots of interested passers. Up next will be some sunset shoots. Additional Images
